Law Students: Bar Exam

Exam Information - The bar exam exists as a way of certifying and licensing attorneys to practice law in the jurisdiction. Almost all states require that attorneys practicing law in a state be licensed by that state. This theoretically protects the public from people who are not qualified to practice law.

State Bars and Global Bars
To practice law, every lawyer must be admitted to a regions bar. Standards for admission to the various bars are regulated by each region and can differ greatly.
